Dr. Aaltoen holds a Ph.D in telecommunications and is a recognized innovator with more than 200 patents and patent applications in various fields of mobile services. He was selected as the engineer of the year 2007 in Finland.

Christian was part of a team with Janne building a large patent portfolio that was sold to Apple in 2010. He has an MBA from University of Cambridge and has built businesses and commercialized new technology through several start-ups. He is a EU trademark attorney and started in IP as a Swedish patent attorney.
